Dear Tom, and the East Coast Yacht Cruises staff,
On behalf of my husband and myself I would like to thank you and your staff for making our wedding ceremony and reception cruise better than we had anticipated and expected.
We knew when we first spoke with your representative Amy Fundis, that your company was far better then the previous companies we had spoken with. Amy took her time explaining our options according to our budget and answered all of our questions patiently and she set us up to inspect the yachts. Then we met with Bill Hackett and Bill made us feel very comfortable as he took us ( in his car) to save us tolls and parking fees, from yacht to yacht on that rainy Sunday afternoon. David and I went home and discussed the yachts we just saw. Bill is very knowledgeable and we felt very much at ease. There was no pressure, from any of your staff. We had many more questions after we saw the yachts and all were answered by Amy again with patience and professionalism and then we booked the Motor Yacht Romantica.
My parents paid for our wedding and my parents were not only impressed with the Romantica luxury yacht but my dad could not believe that we received this "all-inclusive package" with all of the vendors, food, wedding cake, premium bar, everything for minimal dollars, comparatively speaking.

Where do I start?
We came to you with a limited budget and explained that we had always dreamed about getting married on a yacht. We thought we would not be able to afford a yacht wedding. We went through the motions of speaking with your sales associate Amy, sweet lady and she assured us that if were honest about budget that you could probably make things happen for us if we were flexible with the date. We placed our trust into your hands and our faith that you could help us.
Needless to say, we had our wedding day on board a very luxurious yacht. I dare not say the name of the yacht because you did say the package you gave us was far below that of your competition and they could not touch the package price. We got married in front of our parents and guests and on a yacht fit for royalty. Mr. Gross, we not only appreciated your help with our budget, but also with your knowledge on how we could save literally thousands of dollars. Thank you very much.

From the time I expressed my desires for the wedding of my dreams, they became your dreams and you provided a wedding experience with minimal stress and anxiety.
As my mother, grandmother and I entered the yacht we were greeted by Bill and a flurry of activity. My grandmother who had never seen the yacht was taken by the beauty of the vessel. The head Maitre d eluded a calming confidence that quieted some of my nervousness as I explained my vision to her.
The bridal suite was roomy and accommodating with its large mirrors and adequate lighting. My anxiety was decreased a notch and I allowed myself to relax as I was enclosed in this protective capsule.
The photographer and his assistant were personable and efficient as he guided me through various poses. He allowed my guests time to capture the moments as well. The photos that my husband and I viewed on line brought back to mind vivid memories of our day that he brilliantly captured in still prints.
The entire staff was attentive to my guests and made my wedding a memorable experience for all as we danced the night away with the music planned by the D.J. The arrangement of music made the young and the old want to dance all night long as the ship sailed smoothly on that moon lit night. The scene as we sailed from Manhattan was breath taken. My guests were delighted with the yacht, the food, the music and the ambiance of the night.
My husband and I sincerely thank you and your staff for a wedding experience rivaled to none. We are still getting complements from everyone. It was stated “it was the wedding of the century”. It was the wedding of our dreams.

I just want to say thank you for the excellent service during our event last Wednesday, March 18th on board the beautiful Romantica Yacht. Our customers and suppliers had a fantastic evening and your entire crew was top notch! Bill, Soli and the rest of the team that night put our minds at ease immediately upon our arrival and the rest of the night was 'smooth-sailing.'
The weather was great for mid-March and this added to the success of our event. We heard from other customers who could not make it that night that they would have changed their plans because the rumor was that Midas put on another extraordinary event for their customers! We had our wedding on East Coast Yacht Cruises' "Atlantica" this past October, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. We wanted a less traditional venue for our ceremony and reception, but we also wanted an environment conducive to a celebration: the Atlantica was everything we wanted and more. The boat itself was beautiful and furnished elegantly. The outside/upper deck was a great place to catch an amazing view of the New York City skyline, which was an added bonus for our out-of-town guests.
The booking process was seamless. I lived out of state, and was able to book the entire wedding via phone and Internet. The staff at East Coast Yacht Cruises was extremely helpful and responsive to my every request. I loved the fact that I was able to use them as a one-stop-shop for the ceremony and reception, but was not locked into using their recommended vendors if I had someone else that I wanted to use.

This wedding was truly the event of the year. People are still raving about how amazing everything was and what a great idea this was, to have a wedding on a boat. East Coast Yacht Cruises was the BEST decision I could've made for my wedding day. The staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful. Planning a wedding from across the country was difficult but Tom and Bill from ECYC made it seemless. They provided DJ, Photography, and Floral suggestions and the cost was beyond reasonable. We docked out of the South Street Seaport in Manhattan which really gave the whole weekend a NYC experience - especially for the out of towners. Our guests are STILL talking about it. It will absolutely go down as one of the most memorable weddings for everyone who was there. You sail past the Statue of Liberty, get married under the Brooklyn Bridge...it's perfect! It's also great for guests who don't know many other people at the wedding because the scenery keeps changing and they don't feel awkward like they have to sit and make small talk with people they don't know. The food was outstanding - and you get SO MUCH!! The day of the wedding, they have so many people tending to you and your guests' needs that you can actually enjoy youself without worrying about every small detail. Obviously I could continue and go on and on...but I will tell you that if you are interested in a unique, FUN, perfect wedding, go with East Coast Yacht Cruises. I pomise you won't be disappointed.

We had our wedding on the Romantica in 2007. The yacht was first class and well kept. The food was great, and the service all around was extraordinary. Bill Hackett, the cruise representative, made everything so easy for us, was extraordinarily responsive whenever we had questions, and he accommodated our every need. Now that our last guest has left I can catch my breath and thank you for the awesome cruse on the Mariner III. All our guests were absolutely delighted; they kept on saying it was like a dream. The boat is so beautiful and elegant; the crew was perfect, friendly and helpful. The captain was great! We had a very nice tour all around Manhattan and the 3 hours actual cruise passed like a blink ! On the top of that we had a gorgeous weather! It was the perfect program for an after wedding and all our guests who could make it are still commenting upon it.

I write this letter to thank you and your staff for your very fine efforts in helping me to arrange a special birthday party for my husband last month.
The Mariner itself is a grand and very special vessel that was perfect for our event. She was beautifully appointed and every member of her staff was attentive, efficient and very pleasant. In particular I wish to commend Morrison Lewis for his magnificent presentation of the menu which we chose. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared. People are still commenting about the exceptional quality of the beef filet.
Your representative, Ted Strobel, achieved hero-status when in the midst of a drenching downpour he carried for some considerable distance to the yacht a 32-inch flat-screen television set which we were using for a photographic presentation. He became drenched to the skin but had concern only for protecting the TV set from the violent storm. And then, just in time for guests to board the Mariner, Ted succeeded in banishing the storm and bringing upon Manhattan the most beautiful summer evening we could ever imagine for all to enjoy. He could not have been more gracious or accommodating in seeing to our every need throughout the evening. We were very grateful for all he did to make our party such a success.
Joe Carbone and his combo were terrific and provided a perfect selection of music for our party throughout the evening which was an important contribution to creating the kind of atmosphere which we were seeking. Joe Rizzo’s floral creations were just gorgeous and I am very grateful for the time he spent with me in choosing the flowers and designing the arrangements.
You and your staff were supportive and patient and extremely helpful in every regard, in particular Faith, who did spend a great deal of time with me in making the decisions and choices which produced this special and very memorable party. I would love to reprise the event exactly as we did it and indeed I hope to have the opportunity to call upon you again in the future. I’m pleased to report that Mindy and I are extremely pleased with the great job your company did for us last Saturday night. Your team certainly played a major role in making our 50th wedding anniversary party a most memorable occasion. Bill, always the pleasant and concerned gentlemen, made us feel comfortable and assured throughout the night. Maddie was a most efficient manager, responding to all our concerns and seeing that the staff did their job efficiently and unobtrusively. She was very accommodating throughout the evening, and in every way a professional maitre d’. Maddie and Bill made up a winning team. The presentation of the food was excellent, as was the food itself. The one bartender did take care of the crowd with no problem, and in that respect, I thank you for talking me out of hiring a second bartender, which would have been superfluous.
The Rendezvous was set up beautifully, and we are very glad we ordered the seat covers, which, along with the balloons, went a long way in giving the dining room its festive appearance. Thanks also for your cooperation in spiffing up the Ladies room, which, with Mindy and our daughter in law Sarann’s help, was well received by all the ladies.
The D J was a very personable and friendly young man. He also played the part of the Em Cee (don’t know if I spelled that right?) quite professionally, and put us all at ease as we took the microphone to make our little speeches.

I just wanted to take the time to say “thank you”. Our firm’s cruise on August 15 on the Rendezvous was absolutely spectacular! The ship was beautiful. The waitstaff were extremely kind and courteous (especially the bartender). Madeline made sure everything was in order and going smooth and I just can’t say enough about Bill Hackett. Our wedding on the Romantica on the evening of July 30, 2007 was simply magical. Everything ran smoothly and according to plan, and our 55 guests were enchanted with the beautiful boat, the ceremony on the top deck, the drinks, the food, the views, the sunset, the full moon, our klezmer/bluegrass band, and everything else. The chocolate three-tiered wedding cake -- with cannoli/custard filling and your "better cream" frosting -- was probably the best wedding cake I've ever tasted and although I didn't taste all the butlered hors d'oeuvres, the spanakopita, crab cakes, etc. all got great reviews from my guests. Having the Garden of Eden stationary display available before the ceremony and then the pasta and butlered hors-d'oeuvres during the cocktail hour worked out great! The bartender John made fabulous drinks (including a terrific cosmopolitan for me!) and Madeline was a wonderful maitre d'. We were so grateful that the weather was perfect (particularly after some rather dire forecasts) and having the ceremony between the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges was lovely. Best of all, of course, Bill was a terrific event coordinator, responsive to all my questions, and prompt with everything from seating plans to return phone calls; among other things, he assisted my elderly mom up the stairs of the boat with kindness and grace. I approached the wedding calmly knowing that he would be there and that I was in good hands (with the only anxieties brought on by those weather forecasts). I also very much appreciate your helping me to work within my rather limited budget to create an event that was nonetheless very elegant and special. So many people said this was one of the very best weddings they'd ever attended; everyone was sad when it was over. This was partly due to the spirit of the evening, I think, and the focus on our love for each other and our guests instead of a lot of the trappings, but without the boat it wouldn't have been the same.

Ed and I wanted to thank you so much for the wonderful time we had at our wedding reception on board the Atlantica. From the start, the entire East Coast Yacht Cruises team was so obliging and we really appreciated Bill and Tom being with us through every step of the process. Everything at the reception was magnificent and our guests have been raving about how much fun they had. The maitre'd especially was so helpful and accommodating. My matron of honor asked for her assistance several times throughout the day and she was always ready to lend a hand. Every time I turned around she or Bill was there keeping an eye on things and making sure everything ran smoothly. The food was incredible - especially the wedding cake and desserts! I had several people ask where the cake was from and I made sure everyone knew about Homestyle Desserts Bakery! The servers and the bartenders were so pleasant and attentive to all of the guests. The DJ, Matt, played a wonderful variety of music to keep people dancing and entertained. We couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate our marriage. I just wanted to send this email to thank you for an excellent evening onboard the Cayah Michelle. My entire group has done nothing but talk about how fabulous the cruise was. The food was excellent, the staff was extremely accommodating (even to the point of running to the package store to get a certain member of our team the wine that she drank when they didn't have it on board). I really liked the waiters passing out drinks as people boarded the boat. The food was very very good. The cake that we had was great! Bill suggested we get one and I have to say I am so glad that we did. I highly recommend the cake the frosting was amazing. Do not change your bakery. And of course Bill was great to have on board. I really liked working with him while planning this event and while enjoying the event. Bill was very helpful and informative throughout the whole process. A very sweet person. Just had to drop you a note and thank you for an absolutely wonderful time aboard the Romantica. To begin with, the boat was in beautiful condition and the ambience was divine. Bill was exemplary in his seeing through every aspect of our party. Alana took a personal interest in making sure everyone was taken care of and the rest of the staff was attentively catering to our every whim. One of our main concerns was that we had a handicapped family member to get on and off of the vessel. The staff took care of this task quickly and safely, to the relief of us all.
The food was scrumptious. One of our guests that had owned various restaurants throughout the years commented that he was impressed with the quality of the food prepared for such a large group. Another guest who ran banquets at the Drake Swiss Hotel for years mentioned how elegant and professional the entire event was. Said it was the best party he had ever attended. Another item worth mentioning is the cake. The wedding picture on the cake was so beautiful we were amazed that it was edible, and the taste was delightful. In closing, our guests hardly noticed the rain because they were having such a wonderful time and my parents certainly will never forget their 50th wedding anniversary.

Last night we went out with friends who raved about the 'wedding party', and they particularly noted the incredible friendliness, the attention to detail, and service of the waitstaff.
We all were confident that we would have a great party, but to say that every promise you made was kept is an understatement. You, Bill Hackett and the entire staff aboard the Romantica exceeded every expection we had for quality of personal service and attention to detail. The yacht was beautiful and the cruise around Manhattan was breathtaking, not only for our many European family and friends who were aboard but for all of our American guests. The third open deck provided incredible viewing for all, especially as we approached the Statue of Liberty.
And when you say open bar, well, the drinks were flowing. The appetizers and garden of eden were excellent, and your filet mignon received rave reviews. I wish I had more children so I could have another party cruise. I will just have to find another reason to do it.
Your efforts from day one have been professional and personal. You have been absolutely wonderful to deal with in all the details in shaping our special day. Again thanks so much for helping to make the wedding party for Erica and Nicolas a huge success and making Elyse and I thrilled with our decision to use your services at such an important time in our lives.

I wanted to take a moment and thank you and your staff for the wonderful wedding aboard the Atlantica.
The staff could not have been more gracious and helpful. We felt so catered to and appreciated. It was a wonderful touch, and one which I never would have thought of, to take meal requests from the bride, groom and my elderly parents so they did not have to wait on the buffet line. My mom told me several times how she felt "looked after" the entire evening, and Rachel, the bride's sister said she felt famous.
As you know I was on a budget for this affair and did not take food extras. I was concerned that the food might not be top shelf or plentiful. Was I surprised! The food was excellent!; no one left hungry and compliments flowed all evening.
Bill Hackett could not have been more professional and helpful. I even had his cell phone number which I could call at any time prior to the wedding to ease our nerves. He also saw that all our needs were attended to the night of the wedding and went out of his way to escort the frail Rabbi safely off the boat to his car.
I thank you Tom for always answering my endless questions and making me feel better after we spoke. This was a very big financial and emotional event and I was nervous for most of the year. Your calm professional experience and stories of previous successful events always soothed my nerves.

All of the East Coast Yacht Cruise vendors (Madison Ave. Photo, Langdon Florist and L&S Entertainment) were exceptional! Usually you find a guest who has at least one complaint and I have yet to hear any! The food was terrific! I'm still getting compliments about the cruise up to the Statue of Liberty and how it was a
first for many guests to be that close from the river view.

The cruise on Monday, August 22, 2005 on the Romantica was beyond my expectations. My husband, as you know, requested that his cremated ashes be put into the ocean for his permanent resting place and that his loved ones be on board to celebrate his life by partying on board. Your crew was both attentive and caring to all on board. My thanks go out to everyone on board.
Special thanks go to Bill Hackett and the Maitre D' ( Allana) along with Captain Ray, bar tender, Tom and others whose names I regretfully cannot remember.
Several special instances occurred that I would especially like to bring to your attention: Captain Ray displayed his expertise to me by suggesting that my husband's ashes be placed near the lighthouse so the family and myself will have a good idea of his location for the future when we come to visit. Also, he allowed my grandchildren to visit him in his control area on the bow of the second level; they had a lot of fun "steering" the boat. The Bartender ( Tom) was extremely attentive in maintaining my family's well being; I appreciate his making difficult decisions concerning the sobriety of at least one grieving guest. Bill Hackett: never failed in his concern of me and my well being. He kept a watchful eye on me and my guests, always watching and informative. My unending gratitude! Allana preparing and serving food, drinks and continuous smiles to all. Louie from the marine crew was constantly attentive to my safety and to the safety and enjoyment of all my guests. He seemed always to be available when needed. One more person, your Chef ( Keith), who surprised me by coming to see me personally before I left the yacht. He personally came to express his condolences and to give me words of encouragement. I was deeply moved by his coming to me personally from his kitchen.
My experience with you and your staff in planning and enjoying the cruise is something I will long remember. As you can guess, the whole of it was difficult for me. I must tell you though that I will never forget the cruise; it was sad but rewarding. I know my husband knew we did what he wanted and even enjoyed!! Thank you for the wonderful and rewarding experience.

I would like to thank you and your staff and crew for a wonderful evening aboard the Horizon during our sales meeting last month. I heard so many positive comments from our group about every aspect of the cruise. They loved the food ( the variety and presentation were great, and everything was delicious), they enjoyed the yacht's accommodations, the service was exceptional, and the DJ did a grat job getting everyone onto the dance floor. The only negative part of the evening was that it ended too soon !

It's been 2 months since our Wedding on the Romantica on June 26th, and I have to tell you we're still getting compliments about having the best Wedding anyone has ever been to. Bill Hackett was great with us and everything went so smooth and I have to say we were very impressed by the service. Dinner was delicious and the waiters and bartenders were so accommodating and friendly. We couldn't have asked for a better crew.

You may know that the Buy-Side Insights Group had our semi-annual get together in NY last week. Last minute, I found what turned out to be an amazing Manhattan based yacht charter company that took our group out on a dinner cruise around Manhattan. I am sure you have booked cruises like this before but everyone on board felt this was by far the best dinner cruise they had ever been on. For your information, we spent 4 hours traveling around Manhattan enjoying first class food (passed hors-d'oeuvres followed by an unbelievable dinner and dessert), and better than first class service on a wonderfully appointed, very intimate boat that holds about 45 people (we had about 30).
I thought that you should have the name of the charter company on hand in case you ever need to book one of these. The company is East Coast Yacht Cruises, and the owner is Tom Gross. Their number is 516-931-3195. Tom worked closely with us on all aspects on the cruise and I found him to be incredibly professional and easy to work with which is amazing given I found this company on the internet 4 days before the event. I came to find out East Coast Yacht Cruises, Inc. regularly works with the Big 4 accounting firms, Oracle, Citibank, and others.
If you have any questions, let me know but I thought you should have this for your files - my team has not stopped talking about the evening.

Thank you for assigning Mr. Bill Hackett as our wedding coordinator. Bill was fun to meet from the first day and he made my finance and I very comfortable. He spent his Saturday taking us to view all of the yachts. Each one was as nice as the other and it was hard to pick one over the other. In speaking with Bill, we mentioned that my best man was coming from Korea to recite the ceremony. Unfortunately, my best man could not make it to the boat and Won and I felt so comfortable with Bill Hackett that we asked him to recite our passages for us.
